GC System a.s. has been operating in the Czech ICT market since 1990, focusing from the beginning of its operations on ICT infrastructure implementation and software development. As early as in the year 2000 it became the most important business partner to IBM Czech Republic with a high-quality company hinterland as well as awards and certifications from IBM and also from other leading companies, like VMware, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Juniper and SAP.

GC System occupies important positions in independent evaluations (9^th place in TOP 10 of system integrators, 28^th place in the TOP 100 of ICT firms in the Czech Republic, etc.). In the year 2007, GC System a.s. exceeded the turnover of CZK 1 billion (EUR 40 million).

GC System - the only partner of IBM Dynamic Infrastructure in the CR 20.07.2011

At the end of Q2/2011, the GC System company successfully completed the necessary certification procedures for authorisation for IBM Dynamic Infrastructure – the highest "Elite" level. One year earlier, GC System reached the first "Specialty" level, for which it had to undergo a large number of business and technical certifications (about 180 certifications). For the highest Elite level, it was necessary to go through 120 additional certifications in the sphere of Virtualisation, Consolidation, Disaster Recovery and Business Resiliency.

State Final Examination project 19.07.2011

GC System successfully participated in implementation of the State Final Examination project, for which it worked as the contractor and implementation partner for the IT infrastructure for the company Logica Czech Republic spol. s r.o.
