Support team

The Technical department of GC System has an extensive team of specialists, whose action radius covers the entire Czech Republic. The main system support centre is located in the Nagano Office Park in Prague. Servicing centres are located in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.

The technical department is engaged in supporting the business team, design and implementation of ICT solutions, system and technical counselling customer support, as well as presentation, publishing and training activities. Its workers have co-authored a number of IBM ITSO publications (Redbooks).

The GC System a.s. support team has long-term experience with designing, deploying and supporting ICT infrastructures, including solutions accounting for high accessibility and metropolitan DR solutions. It consists of specialists in IBM Power systems, Intel technologies, IBM and Dell EMC storage, back-ups, archiving and supervision and supporting technologies (monitoring, management).

The backbone is formed by ICT architects with over ten years of ICT experience with most of the IBM technology portfolio and similar; these are surrounded by counsellors (specialists) at senior and junior level.

Providing support

Proactive support is provided via the on-site presence of senior counsellors as members of the customer’s team or as a part of full ICT outsourcing. The support is supplemented by regular counselling visits at the customer’s site and performing prophylactic inspections (both on-site and remotely).

For the areas above, we also provide creative support with guaranteed SLA, especially suitable for carrying out operational requests of the customer, resolving malfunctions and correcting error states (hotline), as well as resolving problems detected by proactive support.

Naturally, there is one contact point for resolving all kinds of customer requests and records of all requests with the option to provide overviews. Hotline services are provided 24/7 with a response time from upwards of 1 hour.

Servicing

GC System a.s. is among the leading servicing partners for IBM. Our Company provides authorised warranty and post-warranty servicing of servers, computers and IBM and Lenovo notebooks. We also provide after-sales services, such as server completion, accessory installation, operating system installation and troubleshooting during hardware and software implementation.
